The Last Words of Scripture

The Bible begins with creation and ends with invitation. Revelation closes with some of the most beautiful words ever written:

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” (Revelation 22:17)

This is the heartbeat of God: that the thirsty would come and drink.

The Spirit and the Bride Together

Notice it’s not only the Spirit saying “Come.” The Bride—the Church—joins the call. This is partnership. God fills us with His Spirit, and together we extend the invitation to the world.

Fascia again gives us a picture. Fascia connects every part of the body into one unified whole. A cell in the foot can’t separate itself from the body without harm. Likewise, a believer can’t carry this mission apart from the Body of Christ. We are woven together to call the thirsty home.

The Water of Life Freely Given

The invitation is clear: whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

There is no cost to us—only to Christ, who paid it all. The cross is the fountainhead, and the Spirit carries the living water into our hearts. Unlike the broken cisterns of Jeremiah, this water is endless, pure, and free.

Thirst as the Requirement

The only condition? Thirst.

  • Not perfection.

  • Not a resume of good works.

  • Not spiritual credentials.

Just thirst. The recognition that nothing else satisfies.

Reflection Question: Am I coming to Jesus with my thirst, or am I still trying to quench it elsewhere?

Fascia, Connection, and Eternal Flow

In the body, fascia never stops communicating. Every restriction has ripple effects, and every release brings freedom throughout the system. Eternally, the water of life flows like this—touching, connecting, restoring all things in Christ (Colossians 1:20).

What begins in the soul as thirst will end in glory as satisfaction. Revelation promises not only personal filling but cosmic renewal: “Behold, I make all things new.” (Rev. 21:5)

Application for Body and Spirit

  • Faith Practice: Sit with Revelation 22:17. Hear the Spirit and Bride calling. Respond with your own “Come, Lord Jesus.”

  • Body Practice: After fascia work or stretching, pray: “Lord, connect me more deeply to Your Body, the Church.”

  • Reflection Question: Who in my life needs to hear me echo the invitation: “Come”?

The Final Word is Invitation

The Bible’s final note is not judgment, but mercy. Not exclusion, but invitation. Not thirst, but satisfaction.

Friend, hear it clearly: the Spirit and the Bride say, Come. And let your own life echo that call—until the day when we drink together at the fountain of life forever.
